MY STORY

Hello! I’m Michelle Myers, the founder of Summit Leadership Coaching.

For nearly three decades, I’ve been dedicated to developing leaders, teams and organizations.

What makes me an effective and empathetic coach is simple—I’ve walked in your shoes. As a former corporate leader, I’ve experienced the full reality of leadership: the wins, the setbacks, the burnout, and the uncertainty that can accompany the role.

For the first 18 years of my career, I held management consulting, HR and strategy leadership roles in both public and private companies—partnering with leaders and supporting organizations through growth, change and large-scale integrations.

FOUNDER OF SUMMIT LEADERSHIP COACHING

Executive coach and leadership advisor with 28+ years of experience developing leaders, teams and organizations

In 2015, I transitioned out of the corporate world and founded Summit Leadership Coaching with one clear mission: to unleash conscious, courageous leaders who build stronger teams, healthier cultures and more sustainable business outcomes.

For more than a decade, I’ve been on my own journey of growth. The work we do together as coach and client is the same work I practice every day because conscious and courageous leadership isn’t a destination. It’s a lifelong practice.

MY PHILOSOPHY

My belief is that every leader is naturally creative, resourceful and whole. With the right support—and the willingness to grow—they can access their full capacity and lead with greater awareness, intention and impact.

My role is to help leaders see themselves clearly, take ownership of how they show up, and intentionally choose more effective ways of leading—aligned with who they truly are and the leader they aspire to be.

My approach integrates deep self-awareness with practical application so leaders don’t just gain insight, they transform how they lead in real time.

The work is both compassionate and results-oriented, grounded in research, informed by proven frameworks and applied directly to real business, team and relationship challenges.

I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), trained through the Co-Active Training Institute’s intensive year-long program. I’m also certified in a range of globally recognized, research-backed leadership tools and assessments.

MY LOVES

  • I’m based in Denver, Colorado, and our famous 14ers (mountain peaks over 14,000 feet) inspired the name Summit Leadership Coaching (ask me about my first 14er!).

  • I have a deep soul connection with my labradoodle, LuLu (my soul baby!).

  • Everyone needs a raving fan in their life, and for me, that’s my husband Craig—who also holds me accountable for practicing what I coach.

  • I’ve always been drawn to the inner world. Ideas like those in The Seat of the Soul—that true growth comes from living into and through our values—shaped my perspective early in life.

  • I also love exploring the outer world and immersing myself in other cultures (I enjoy planning travel nearly as much as the travel itself).

  • Maintaining deep, meaningful, supportive connections is everything to me, and seeing a family member, friend or client experience an “aha” moment along their journey gives me life.
